Courtney Carey
At 29, Courtney was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and entered medically induced menopause. She was told carrying children was not an option and becoming a mother would be nearly impossible. For five years, she didn’t know how or when motherhood would happen—but she never gave up hope that it would. Miraculously, she became pregnant and is now one year into raising triplets. Along the way, she has done the deep, transformative work of changing her diet, removing toxic products from her daily life, leaning into the teachings of Jikiden Reiki, learning to be at peace with dying, processing work-related stress, changing careers, and setting healthier boundaries.
